PicFlips – the mobile flipbook studio

Halloween is the perfect holiday for PicFlips flipbooks!  Everyone is already in costume and ready for some fun!The PicFlips calendar is almost full for Halloween weekend, so book soon!  Look for the PicFlips’ mobile flipbook studio at church Fall Festivals, Halloween soirees and costume parties at the end of October.  Don’t be left in the dark!

PicFlips is based out of the DFW area in Texas.  We’re the ones who started the flipbook craze at events and have the patent to prove it!  We’ve been doing events in the Dallas Fort Worth area for 5 years now and have become quite the fixture at parties and events in the metroplex…from heart-warming non-profit galas and action-packed bar/bat mitzvahs to dreamy weddings and memory-filled proms.  We have the best job ever because we go to parties for a living!  The PicFlips team is so privileged to be included in our client’s most precious milestones and events, and we take pride in the job we do!

We have a professional graphic designer who tailors the custom covers to match each event, which are then beautifully printed on glossy paper by a local print shop.  Our event teams are thoroughly trained and held to a high standard.  Even our props are specifically chosen to go along with the theme and colors of the party!

We hope our passion comes through in our work.  We do more than take photos.  PicFlips captures memories and wraps it up in a sweet little pocket-sized book.  No batteries required, the flipbooks fit easily in a pocket or purse, and they can be flipped through anytime you need a good laugh or when you want to re-live that memory.

Even the best employee-boss relationships can get trying at times.  To put a fun twist on this concept, the Todd Events team created a game for their employee party by creating a wall of balloons with Todd Fiscus’ smiling face and handing the staff darts to pop the balloons and win prizes.  “Does Todd know about this?!” I overheard one team member ask.  “Yes, it was his idea!” came the reply.

If you check out the Dallas Kids Expo 2010, you’ll be amazed at all of the fun activities they have planned for moms, dads and kids of all ages.  We’re talkin’ tea parties, ‘green’ baby changing stations, talks on how to save money with coupons and so much more.

PicFlips was honored to be a part of the amazing production put on by Fellowship Church in Grapevine, TX…Flavour Conference 2010! We really love doing church events. We knew it was going to be a good night when we first drove in the parking lot. Usually, when we drive through a parking lot, the attendants simply wave us in the right direction. Not at Fellowship Church. The guys were smiling and waving to us as we drove in – a welcome change from the ordinary. (Hey, it’s the little things that impress me.)

The theme of the evening was The Wizard of Oz.  Even the golf carts were festive!  The black-and-white large foyer was transformed as the women sat inside the conference into a beautiful, colorful masterpiece.  We had 2 stations with an extra production station on each so we were really cranking out the flipbooks!  Adding the extra production station to each studio was a great idea because we were able to make flip books right away for each person in the video. 

It was a wonderful event and we want to thank Fellowship Church for having us.  Not a Wicked Witch in sight…we were surrounded by beautiful women with a lot of heart, wisdom and courage!
